Calling this book a fast paced roller coaster ride would be the most basic definition of a classic understatement
The book’s like a complicated recipe, you don’t know what’s in it and you sure as hell won’t know what it tastes like after you eat it.
Jeffrey Archer has recreated the will of a man that drove him to conquer the unconquerable but somewhat fails to create the same drive in the reader to turn these pages
A beautiful story with no ending
To read it is to live it, and I just read the First World War.
A brilliant effort by debutant Roger Hobbs. A definite 4.5 stars
Great points about this book :
1. Great combination of fast and slow paced action, sometimes even a mixture of these two.
2. Switching between 2 stories each 5 years apart throughout the book and their ultimate intersection towards the end was what made me want this book to go on and on…..
The most thought provoking novel, by an Indian author(s), I have read in recent times
I received this book as a preview copy from Goodreads and will review this book based on my own perspective.
There’s nothing more scarier than the truth that hides in plain sight
First of all, what makes this this murder mystery an interesting read,
1. By the end of the 1st chapter, you will know who committed the murder.
2. By the end of the 2nd chapter, you will know what happened to the victim (as we always do).
